It would have been worth being a shiny arse wage slave in 1960s Newcastle if these were your choices for the ride home.
The train in platform 1 is the 5.05pm Toronto, No.846, stopping Hamilton, Broadmeadow, Teralba and all stations. I rode it once, that little S tank really whirled it along after Broadmeadow.
I'm a Victorian and the NSWGR was for me a very different railway.
