I believe that Carcoar is one of the oldest settlements west of the Blue Mountains. A Mixed train for Blayney left Cowra at 11.45 am, Tues,Thurs, Sat. and a mixed train left Blayney for Cowra Tues, Thurs, Sat at 1.27 pm. Here they are crossing at Carcoar. This was country New South Wales, circa 1964. I was riding the Blayney bound train. I've always liked a slow train......to anywhere.
